Archi Labs ("we", "our", "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you install and use our Shopify applications (the "App"), or when you otherwise interact with us.
1. Information We Collect
When you install the App, we automatically access certain information from your Shopify account. This is necessary to provide you with the App's services and includes:
- Shop Information: Your store's domain name, primary email address, owner name, currency, and plan type. We use this to authenticate your account and configure billing.
- Merchant Configurations: Wholesale pricing configurations, coupon specifications, customer group rules, and customized discount schedules that you configure within the App's dashboard.
- Shopify API Data: The App accesses lists of discounts, products, and customer tags via Shopify's secure API. We do not store full customer records; we only read customer tags to verify eligibility for wholesale pricing at checkout.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the App's core services, including wholesale tier sync and automatic storefront discount applications.
- Process subscriptions and billing through Shopify's secure billing system.
- Provide ongoing customer support, troubleshoot technical errors, and improve App performance.
- Send transactional emails regarding billing updates or mandatory service notices.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or rent your store or customer information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Shopify Inc.: We share data with Shopify as necessary to process billing, make API calls, and maintain App integration.
- Compliance with Law: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your database configuration details as long as the App is installed on your store. If you uninstall the App, our automated system receives a Shopify webhook and deletes your shop session token immediately. All local databases are completely scrubbed of your shop configuration within 30 days of uninstallation, in strict compliance with Shopify's GDPR and compliance requirements.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your store data from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All API communications between the App, our databases, and Shopify are encrypted using HTTPS and SSL protocols.
6. GDPR and CCPA Compliance
If you are a merchant based in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have specific rights regarding your personal data. We comply with all mandatory Shopify privacy webhooks, including:
- Customer deletion requests (`customers/redact`)
- Customer data requests (`customers/data_request`)
- Shop deletion requests (`shop/redact`)
